Murilo Gomes Crowned Drag Bike Champion at Copa FT BR Sport

Murilo Gomes claimed the Drag Bike class championship during the 4th round of the Copa FT BR Sport drag racing series, adding another major result to an already impressive season.

Piloting an approximately 700 HP drag bike powered by a Precision Turbo Gen 2 6062, Gomes has continued to push the platform forward throughout the year. The team recently set a new Brazilian and South American 1/8-mile record, running 4.588 seconds at 281 km/h (174.6 MPH).

The performance marked a major improvement from the team’s previous 4.695-second pass earlier in the season. With FuelTech engine management and continued development of the combination, Gomes and his team have steadily improved the bike while chasing quicker elapsed times and new records.
