The team at Shifted Society recently completed dyno testing with our Stage 1 MK7 Golf Turbocharger and delivered impressive results from a 50mm turbo on a full stock engine with bolt-on modifications.
Results:
• 522 WHP
• 456 lb-ft TQ
• Peak boost: 32 PSI
• Fuel: E85
Supporting modifications from JDY Performance include an intake, downpipe, intake manifold, and intercooler, while tuning was handled by Flecha Performance.
Next stop: the drag strip, where the team is aiming for a 10.7-second quarter-mile ET in a full-weight Golf R. This turbo already ran a 10.92 ¼ mile time.
